WATER
WITH OUT IT WE CAN NOT SURVIVE

97% IS SALT WATER. 3 % IS FRESH. OF THAT 3%, 2/3rd OR 2% IS FROZEN. WE SURVIVE ON 1%.

DOMESTIC USE OF THE SUPPLY IS 1%. CREATING ELECTRIC ENERGY USES 48%. 34% IS IRRIGATING CROPS. OTHER PUBLIC ENTENTIES USE 11%. I do no t know what happens to the other 6%.

WATER COMPANYS STARTED DEVELOPING IN THE WEST ABOUT 1850 TO FIGHT FIRES.

How much water exists in the world today as compared to 100 years ago? As compared to 10 years ago? The answerer is further down.

SONOMA COUNTY sets the standard of usage at 150 gallons per day. If you have a spring or well that produces 1 gpm it creates 1,500 gallons per day. 2 gpm = 3,000 gallons per day. A normal person uses about 75 gallons per day. If you try hard you can get down to 50.

SPRINGS are my first choice. Delivery is simpler and cheaper.

WATER SCARCE areas exist in Sonma County like West of Petaluma around Two Rock. Much of the rest is miss labeled due to the lack of wells. The rural areas mostly use springs.

RECYCLING WATER We have been doing it for a million years. The same amount of water has existed on earth a million years ago or ten years ago as today. It keeps working through the system.

PROPERTY VALUE without water is zero. That is unless you are growing hay.

MORE LAWSUITES have been fought over water than any other reason.

The Press Democrat ran a good detailed history/article on water on 8/29/10 under Green Living, "Our Water Lifeline".
